Goodbye For Now

Goodbye For Now

Those who try to improve the world with force
Only come to grief;
Tampering makes things worse.
Because life is sacred just as it is
Tao Te Ching (Ch: 29 - Lao Tzu)

Opus Humanum will be going offline next week. Thank you for supporting this project, and for reading these words and engaging in these ideas. After much reflection and some time away from the site, I decided it was time to close this chapter.

In my efforts to write my thoughts down and produce them as content, I had shed a bright light on the uncomfortable truth of Spiritual Ego, the backseat driver in all of our spiritual journeys that tells us “This is who I am. I know the Truth. I am on the path of Enlightenment.”

On one hand, I followed my love for learning and sharing in the channel of spiritual teachings, on the other, I sought the fruits of those labors. Yet, neither brings the Way. If there is more I am meant to share, then the time will present itself.

The reality is - there is nothing to know. There is nothing to say. There is nowhere to go. There is nothing to do. There is no one to be.

Take care, and talk soon.

Goodbye mama and papa
Goodbye Jack and Jill
The grass ain't greener, the wine ain't sweeter
Either side of the hill.

Did you say your name was Ramblin' Rose?
Ramble on baby, settle down easy
Ramble on Rose.
